Kiel Williams is a multi-instrumentalist performer, composer, producer and music educator based out of the east San Francisco Bay area. As a performer he has toured the west coast from San Diego to Anchorage Alaska and played festivals (Slamonfest, Kate Wolf, Strawberry, Redwood Mountain Faire, Comatopia...) as an instrumentalist and as a front man. As the primary songwriter and leader for the band The Hot Dark and co-leading and songwriting for The Risky Biscuits, Kiel has been producing and performing quality original music for audiences around California since 2010. His attention to detail and careful musical ear has also made him a sought after player to backup accomplished songwriters such as Willy Tea Taylor, Jimbo Scott and Grover Anderson.
